MY ENGLISH MENTORS

Some people might think that English language is merely hard to understand. As a student and a major of this area, the first thing that comes into my mind is that it is difficult; especially that I have a weak foundation during my high school days. That time, I’ve experienced a teacher who sometimes late and worst, being absent in the class.

As I’ve seen English nowadays, majority of the people in the world have the potentials to communicate using this language. Everyone is required knowing English because of the trend and it can be used in our daily life. It makes someone very competitive and easily get a job when we know how to use it or if we are English proficient.

I am really inspired that my teachers nowadays are diligent and punctual in their profession unlike before. One thing that I’ve usually hear and remember to some of my teachers that if the teacher can’t give us everything that we have to learn, we have now to fill the gaps of them. I’m so much thankful that these teachers altogether teaching in our class this semester. The best teachers in CSSAC namely Ma’am Fajardo, Salamat, Taumatorgo, Francisco, Sir Margate and Ma’am MiraƱa. These teachers would serve as my inspirations and models in my future teaching career. I just hope and pray that all my weaknesses that I’m facing right now would turn as a challenges and become my strengths.

If Only. . .

In life we should always think of what we can do not only for ourselves but also for the sake of others. We should not put other's lives into risk because of our own ambitions in life. IF ONLY everyone of us has this kind of mentality...........there will be no poverty.

Englishian 2dent

Some people think that if your an english major student, you are good in speaking in english. Expectations that I think is unhealthy in the side of an englishian(an english major student) like me. Because if you are an englishian it doesn't necessarily mean that you can accurately speak in english. In my side, I took up this subject to improve my skill in speaking the language. And I will exert more effort just to learn more about this field.

Being an English major, the pressure i felt everyday was not able lessen..
Each day i felt the expectations from our Professors which we need to attain..
The needs of our future students which we have to fill in..
Today, there are things to be done at a given time..
We have to consume our time wisely and do not waste any second of it..
For we are in the middle of our way to realize our goals and our dreams as well..
Its not easy for us to be in this kind of situation..
But as a future teachers,we have to train ourselves to always read and make our own point of views to teach effectively..
I know we can attain those expectations from us..
With God's guidance!

a thousand and one nights

I'd like to share what i have read from this story. This story tells about King Shahriyar whose wife's betrayal has filled him with hatred for all women. Every night, motivated by vengeance and fear, he marries a different woman only to put her to death the following morning. Finally a young woman named Scheherazade devises a scheme to stop the bloodshed. She weds the King, and on the first night of their marriage, she tells him a spellbinding story. At day break, she has not yet finished. As the executioners await their orders, Scheherazade promises Shahriyar that she will finish the story that evening. Captivated by the tale, Shahriyar stays the order of execution. That night,Scheherazade finishes the first story but immediately starts another that is just as exciting as the first. In this way she enthralls the King and prolongs her life for a thousand and one nights. By the time she has finished telling her final story, almost three years have passed. King Shariyar, now in love with Scheherazade, decides not to kill her.

...this story is really amazing..but i am wondering what does the stories told by Scheherazade to Shahriyar...=)
